Markers not showing up in the editors left ruler [message #200839]

Hello ! I have browsed through the bugzilla and other discussions on this
issue, - ( I am creating task markers on a file ) and they show up fine in
the tasks pane , and work correctly, like going to correct line number and
all.
But the tasks icons do not show up on the left hand side ruler.
I have to close the editor and then open it back, they are visible then.
I looked at the bug, and it states that it was fixed. I am using eclipse
3.1.0 ... but I still see this issue.
Is there a setting or a patch that I should know of.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. - Omkar.

Probably, this bug is fixed in 3.0?
You can reopen it for 3.1.
