New L & F [message #200257] Mon, 23 February 2004 16:44 Go to next message

Can anybody tell me how i can force all the open files to be shown as
tabs (in the new L&F)?

Currently it shows me a drop down from which i can select the file, but
that seems to be cumbersome when you have a good number of files open.

thanks

This option should really default to the current (multiple editors) mode,
instead of forcing people to hunt for it, just to return to their normal mode of
operation.

Yep...

Also, an option to "forcefully" show all the files would be nice too.
Currently it shows me around 6 open files as tabs and the rest as drop
down....
If anybody knows any workarounds let me know.....

I agree too! Because of lack this feature I switched back to the "normal"
L&F.

Is it possible for me to set "Lock in view" across all the
views/perspective by default?. Or can I make it persistent while
restarting...currently it doesnot seem to do so...
