Is anyone out there using Eclipse to build embedded apps for the
MIPS32, especially the AU1100 family?

At work we have a product that uses this kit and we're using
GDB/Insight but, with all due respect to the guys who produced
GDB/Insight, it's not what I'd call easy to use or good looking on
Windows!

I'd love to be able to use Eclipse for all our development but I'm in
the position where we have a build system that is not Eclipse or
straight "make" based. Therefore, as a first step, I'd like to try to
get Eclipse working with GDB on a remote Abatron BDI2000 with full
debugging capabilities so any advice or help that anyone can offer on
setting up Eclipse Europa's GDB Hardware Debugging feature to use an
externally built elf executable would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks
John
