Periodic workspace save [message #196542]

When checking out a large number of projects (ie hyades) from CVS, a LOT
of time is spent doing "Periodic workspace save". Is there a setting
that controlls this, or should I enter a bug report?

welcome (use the "performance" keyword), but please be specific.
