We are actively looking for an experienced Eclipse engineer to join our
group in the Bay Area. Our product is an Eclipse/CDT/DSDP based IDE for
internal Cisco microcode and hardware engineers, with many custom views
for Cisco-specific hardware. The debug target is a sophisticated
multi-CPU SoC (system on a chip) network processor. Please contact me if
you are looking for a new opportunity or if you know someone that might be
looking.
Responsibilities include architecting, design, and development of custom
Eclipse plug-ins enabling advanced system level debugging and performance
analysis.
Candidate will be working with hardware, software, tools, and simulation
engineers to define requirements and capabilities of the IDE which will be
used both for simulation and real hardware targets.
Candidate should be well versed in all Eclipse fundamentals, and have at
least 5 years of Java/SWT experience, ideally in the area of IDEs,
debuggers, software & performance analysis tools. First hand experience
developing Eclipse plug-ins, views, and custom owner-drawn widgets is
required.
Knowledge of the following would be an asset: Draw2D, GEF, CDT, DSDP
(specifically DD and TM), XML 2.0, forms, IPCs, XMPP, custom launch
delegates, and JNI.
