How to get access ITerminalConnection? [message #19518] |

I'm using TerminalView and trying to add some functionality that I need for our
product. One feature I'm implementing is file transfer using different protocol
based on serial connection. In order to not repeat RXTX wrapper code I'd like to
get access to ITerminalConnection to us its service. How to do it?

Alex, did you check Bugzilla for your needs? I'm not sure if I fully
understand what you want, but this one may be interesting:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=165893
As of today, the Terminal doesn't yet have public API for plugging in
much custom stuff other than a custom terminal connector. But we're open
for suggestions (and even more open for patches if we agree on the right
thing to do). I'd suggest you create a bugzilla enhancement request,
and we continue discussions there (it's better to search and reference
on bugzilla).

I forgot to mention that I asked about version 2.0.3
