export "external tools", "run" and "debug" [message #190812] Thu, 23 December 2004 23:33 Go to next message

Can't seem to find the answer anywhere (well, I can't google anything on
this).

Windows->Preferences has an export to store your preferences. I use this to
move my preferernces to my multiple workspaces (I switch between different
workspaces frequently).

However, it seems workspaces do not share "external tools", "run" and
"debug" settings - even after exporting/importing preferences from another
workspace that has custom external, run and debug tools setup.

How can I move them to my multiple workspaces?

On the Common tab foe those run configurations you can choose to store
them somewhere in your workspace. That way they are easily found and/or
checked into CVS.
