Include Browser unusable? [message #187607] Fri, 16 March 2007 05:49 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm using CDT 4.0.0-I200609180500 together with eclipse 3.3M5eh and noticed
that the Include Browser view seems unusable. It just contains "To display
an include hierarchy, drop a c/c++-file onto this view." but I fail to drop
any file to this view!

Is anyone able to do so?

I know about the "include directives" list in C/C++ Projects and this works
nice and I can also drag a file into an editor window.

Have you tried CDT 4.0 M5 yet? CDT 4.0.0-I200609180500 is quite old now.

Oops, sorry. Yes, I tried indeed CDT 4.0 M5 and copied the wrong version in
this thread.

OK, since nobody replied with positive result I will file a new bug.

Done: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=178029

I found an easy workaround: Just select "Show In->Include Browser"
from context menu *a single time* and it's possible to drag files ...
