Hi snpe:
The code in the DTP/CVS is currently in transition, with a major
refactoring being planned and incrementally implemented by the project
teams. Expect, for the time being, duplicate components and extension
points/API that will be changed going forward. DTP is currently planning
two milestone releases in 5Q4 and two more in 6Q1, with a release in late
6Q1. At each milestone point, as certain subset of functionality will be
in place, and this will be clearly documented in the release notes. At
present, the components closest to feature stability are those in the
Model Base project, though some changes could be expected as well.

Fred,
Yes, the DTP code line will continue to consolidate throughout the
milestone process, and current duplication within DTP will be eliminated.
For other projects, such as WTP and JSR220 ORM, I've heard that they too
will use the resultant DTP components, though I'll leave discussion about
the exact timing of such moves up to those projects themselves.

So, basically at some point in the milestone relase shoudl see data explorer/data output functionality that may be in WTp or JSR220 ORm as of now moved and itnegrated with DTP with DTP becoming a base requirement for WTp and JSR220_ORM?
