Hi all,
I moved to a new computer and I'm trying to resume my work on a large file. I installed papyrus through the direct download link. When I open the model, and try to right-click, I don't get any UML specific options such as New Child
I then installed SYSML1.6 from the marketplace and I get all of the proper right-click options, but when I open a block from the model, I don't get the Sysml1.6 tab on the properties section. I only get the UML tab. This means I cannot access certain data in the block.
I'm going to try installing Papyrus through the eclipse installer but I'd like to know what's going on.

Also, trying to install through the installer doesn't work. I end up with no repository errors.

OK, I've installed Papyrus 6.6.0 through the latest Eclipse version and then the Sysml1.6. I still don't have the sysml 1.6 tab in the properties area.

Hi Rod,
have you used the Papyrus RCP or have you installed Papyrus on top of an Eclipse installation?
I use the second way to get Apple Silicon support on MacOS. The first is more convenient, so I use it for Windows (AMD64) and Linux (AMD64). Both ways work out of the box for me.
It would be helpful, you illustrate your setup procedure by a set of screenshots or a screen cast.
BTW, the SysML tab is only active for SysML projects.

This was a SysML project but it had an error so it had to be reloaded/imported. It is possible that it has lost it's SysML project type designation. How do I check/update that?

As for the installation, I finally got the most recent version of Papyrus installed through installing it on top of Eclipse, which was also a fresh install.
I'm on Linux Mint Mate 21.3 Virginia.
