hi, I'm fairly new to using Eclipse and coding in Java in general. I've created some code for a login page and a guessing game but every time I try to run it i get a notification come up saying there's an issue with the console. I've looked it up ad it has something to do with the UI? here is the notification that comes up- index.php/fa/43164/0/

i have no idea if adding the image worked so i'll also put the text of the message here-
"'Show Console View' has encountered a problem. An internal error has occurred"
then when i press "details" this comes up-"An internal error has occurred.
Cannot invoke "org.eclipse.ui.part.IPage.getControl()" because the return value of "org.eclipse.ui.part.PageBookView.getCurrentPage()" is null"

how can i make the console work so i can run and trial my code? i would really appreciate some help!

Are you on the current release? How was it installed? Are you running it with an appropriate version of Java?
