how can i generate xtext artifacts [message #1858205]

In GenerateStucturedText.mwe2， get the error "Couldn't resolve reference to JvmType 'Workflow'."

when i right click at StructuredText.xtext， then "run as"->"Generate Xtext Artifacts", got the error as the image in the attachment:

can you help me? thx

May I ask why you need this? 4diac IDE comes already with everything generated. So you could also take that code.

But if you want to experiment with it you need to ensure that in your Eclipse instance the full MWE2 Language SDK is installed. It should come with the Xtext complete SDK package, which is not per default part of the Eclipse Modelling edition anymore.

I have a mild obsessive-compulsive disorder. when i see the red errors , i always want to get rid of them.
In fact, i has installed those sdks, they are shown in the attachments.
i have been confused by this problem for a long time.

For what 4diac IDE source version are you talking? develop branch? I will delete the plugin that you marked in your first screenshot today.

May I see the error that you are getting. I'm still not sure what you want to achieve. If you check out 4diac IDE code and have a correctly setup Eclipse IDE you do not need to run MWE workflows.

I want to see how the whole process from xtext to EMF to java source files is realized. But the ecore and genmodel files in 4diac exist when they are downloaded, not generated from xtext.

Yes we have most of the more elaborate to create generated artifacts checked in. This greatly reduces set-up time and makes our developers more productive. Especially as these artifacts change not that often.

From your previous messages I assume you want to debug 4diac IDE. The first step is to build 4diac IDE from source. Our documentation is pretty up to date and this is the first step. When you are able to run 4diac IDE from source you can also simply debug it from our Eclipse development instance.
