How can I integrate my python code to control traffic lights in SUMO?

Yes, you can use the TraCI interface. It allows you to connect Python (and other languages) code to control different element during simulation time.
You can retrieve information and change traffic lights' states.

- TraCI -> Change_Traffic_Lights_State https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/TraCI/Change_Traffic_Lights_State.html
