Eclipse Indigo 3.7.2 Proxy Problem [message #1591361]

Hello everybody

i'm new on this forum so i'm sorry if i didn't open the right topic

I have Eclipse Indigo version 3.7.2
Build ID: M20120208-0800

Our company has proxy implementation from Zscaler so we provided
proxy : proxy.zscaler.net
port: 80

i've tried to put at Windows -> Preferences -> General-> Network Connection
at Manual and set the host and port and auth, but no luck.

i tried also to modify the eclipse.ini file and put

-Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.excludeContributors=org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.httpclient
-Dhttp.proxyPort=80
-Dhttp.proxyHost=gateway.zscaler.net
-Dhttp.proxyUser=europe\dvlasceanu
-Dhttp.proxyPassword=Ready2prepare
-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=localhost|
-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

but no luck. It still give me the same error.
i try for example to access marketplace.eclipse.org/marketplace-client-intro..................you can see the link in the attachment but it gave me the error:
Unable to read repository at marketplace.eclipse.org/marketplace-client-intro......................
marketplace.eclipse.org/marketplace-client-intro.............. is not a valid repository location.

Can you please advice me what to do in order to work the repositories when i use proxy?

This isn't an EMF question. Try the eclipse.newcomers forum.

It still is not an EMF question. Perhaps your problems similar to that one that is solved by the approach described in this bug:
