How to disable inline warnings/errors? [message #1842903]

I upgraded to Eclipse 2021-06 (4.20.0). For Java classes, suddenly compile warnings and errors are displayed inline, i.e. within the source code, next to each line of code with the relevant problem.

How can I disable this, and only show warnings/errors in the left margin as before?

See screenshot.

Help appreciated.

This is likely just "code minings". Enter that in the filter in preferences and uncheck "Enable code minings".

Not to disable any warning details as you can't get enough error details.
