hi,

yes this is a known problem, which has been reported already several times in the forum. Also a bug has been added to our bugzilla: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=568326

We try our best, but I want promise it. As strange as it may sound it is more work then it looks. The reason is the change of project layout which was introduced in 1.13.0. While it made many things much easier a few things got really hard. Boot-file exporter is one of them.

Definitely it will be fixed in 1.14.1.

good to know!

Then can we build the project in 1.13 and export the boot file in 1.12? we haven't tried it but we need a temporary solution as one of our project on site need the boot file to deal with the computer reboot or something like that.

Hi,

first of all it should be possible to open 4diac 1.13 projects in 1.12.

However after having the first idea of a solution last week I finally found some time today to try it out. A first version of a fixed boot file generation can be found here: https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/4diac/org.eclipse.4diac.ide/+/179473
My first tests worked. But I would be happy to get more feedback.

thanks for your patch!

We moved everything into 1.12 again after everything done in 1.13. It is a pity but we have to fix it before we leave.

Now we have moved to 1.14 and the export of fboot works well.

You are welcome. Happy that we could finally fix that issue in 4diac IDE.
