How to set register value in eclipse IDE [message #1834665]

I am a software developer of rivai company. We are using eclipse 2020-06 4.16.0 to add the function of debuging custom vector registers in our chip，and the hierarchy of the current environment: elipse + gdb + openocd + spike. We hope to use eclipse IDE to read and write these custom vector registers, but we can read the values of these registers correctly and have not found a way to set values for them on the IDE, please refer to the attached picture. My guess is that the format of the user input value is checked and intercepted on the IDE, and the relevant information is not passed to gdb and openocd.
Can anybody provide some suggestions?
