I'm a newcomer, just installed Eclipse for java. Started OK, Hello world OK.
But I can't find packages SWT aznd PDE which seem necessary to generate paint application. All downloaad pages all point to general Eclipse downloads,

Can you help ? tell me where to download SWT and PDE from.Thanks

The different packages you can install or download come pre-canned with a specific subset of features; most of them do not contain (the full) PDE feature. You can use Help -> Install New Software to add it. The Committers package does come pre-canned with the full PDE.
