I update eclipse 4.14 ，but I found postfix completion is not work when I enter "aa".var. see imgs :

There are not many methods you can call on an array instance; only the ones from java.lang.Object; the only other thing available after the "." is "length". Type just "a.", "aa.", or "list." and you'll see how few choices there are. So it's not the case that it's not working but rather than your expectations are misguided.
