Customizing the ID-Generator [message #1799572]

Hello,

I have found the ID-Generator very useful but also quite limited by the following things: the number of digits to display (e.g. 001, 002, instead of simply 1, 2) cannot be customized and the same if instead of a prefix I want the number in the middle (e.g. REQ-number-SYS).

Is there a way to modify it?

The only way to modify this is to change the source code.
