I am trying to install Eclipse Oxygen on Debian Linux. When I start eclipse, I get "Failed to find a Main Class in "/home/clayton/Downloads/eclipse//plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.5.100.v20180827-1352.jar". I believe that I have successfully installed JDK 11.

Oxygen, which is an outdated release, does not work with Java 9 or higher
without some effort. Oxygen.1a and newer will.

The jar file in your error message didn't come from Oxygen, though,
so something weirder is going on. Are you sure it's Oxygen?
