Hallow!
use eclipse CDT and PDT on ubuntu.
my editor window blinks - get clear window and rapidly draws content.
redrawing comes more rapid when code have issues - errors.
frequently, redrawing breaks on clear state, and to see content need some activity in window - scroll, or cursor move.

is there any recipe to fix it?

Are you using some fancy UI theme? Which version of Ubuntu? Are you running Gnome, Unity or something else? The more "standard" your graphic stack is, the better the experience (ie. Gnome, Adwaita theme, etc). You can also try to force GTK2 with the environment variable SWT_GTK3=0 but this workaround will only work with Eclipse 4.9 and earlier as GTK2 is being removed in Eclipse 4.10.

Dear friends.

I got a palliative solution.
Change the theme to Dark.
(Window> Preferences> General> Appearance)

Tks.
