Hi!
Recently I investigated some time to customize my property sheet and had a
look at the "GMF Propsheet Customization With GmfUI" article. But I
realised that the article is rather outdated. Looking at the source code
changes and commit comments hasn't helped me very much to find out how to
do. Btw. I am working with GMF 2.1.
Will the Gmf Propsheet customization be part of the GMF 2.1 release?! (A
stable or experimental implementation ?!)
Will there be any description when the API is finished (probably after M6)
:) ?!?

Hi,
Here is the words of Artem Tikhomirov on a discussion of the gmf-dev
mailing list :
I first asked whether the functionality was still planned for the 2.1
release :
Artem : "The model to generate property sheets has been significantly
reworked. However, this functionality seems to be out of scope of the
GMF, and I'm not quite confident we should move on with hosting that in
the GMF project."
Then, we think of a new EMFT component that would support this
functionality. The goal would be to ease the way to generate a Tabbed
Property Sheet for any EMF model :
Artem : "We'll keep this work in GMF for now - just to simplify our
lifes not introducing dependencies to EMFT component. However, I'm not
trying to say we don't need one, just that GMF tooling will keep
developing it where it is now (i.e. SDK experimental) and we would be
glad to contribute to the component once it's ready.
To put it other way round, GMF 2.1 will include new model capable to
generate property sheet (actually, not only property sheets, form-based
editors are supported as well). It won't be very similar to the present
one, though, don't use that stale wiki pages to find out what's coming."
