Jubula can not map objects on the installer that built by InstallAnywhere2015 [message #1783977] Tue, 20 March 2018 22:40 Go to next message

Jubula can not map objects on any component like button and textfield on the SWING UI installer that built by InstallAnywhere2015.

After launching the installer through Jubula, the object mapping icon is active. I clicked it to get the component mapping id, but AUT will wait for nearly ten minutes, and reported error "Could not request components from AUT", see details below.

This installer is quite simple, it is SWING application, AUT cannot get the Next button on the first page.

Attachment please find the installer I tested, there are two files, installer.bat and installer.exe. Please use installer.bat as executable file, because installer.exe is regarded as non-executable jar file by Jubula.

Very appreciate for any suggestion.

I updated the attached installer I tested. There are two files, installer.bat and installer.exe. Please use installer.bat as executable file, because installer.exe is regarded as non-executable jar file by Jubula.

Dear Toby,

I just tested it with Jubula version 8.4.1.123 as you see on the picture (Forum) I could map the lable, buttons and text components.

It is important that you configure your AUT correctly.
Please ensure that you selected the correct toolkit in the AUT configuration (see picture Forum2)

Kind Regards

Elena
