If you don't see it under your application, you can open it by going: Window -> Show View -> Other. In the menu, expand the folder "Other" and inside you'll find Virual DNS

right clicking on the system perspective (typically top right) and select reset perspective should also bring it back.

did you open an older workspace with the latest 4diac-ide? If yes please delete the .metadata directory first and reimport your projects into the workspace.

Dear Alois,
Does virtual DNS also works inside a composite function blocks? If yes then please guide because in my case it's not working.

Hi,

no for CFBs virtual DNS ist not working. And if if it would it would only do so at the time you generate the C++ code. That is maybe not what you want or intend.

However virtual DNS is working with subapplications (typed or untyped). Maybe these are then what would fulfill your needs. We just published 4diac 1.10.2 with many fixes for subapplications. Just check for updates in your current 4diac IDE and you should be automatically updated to 1.10.2.
