Hi,
I hope, there isn't such problem solved before, because I didn't find it.
I'm just crating an knowlage base graphical editor including attributes,
proposition and rules, and I wanted put some modularity inside, so I
allowed knowlage base composition, so now can another base be nested
inside some other base showing its targets and queries. For this purpose
I also allow to create shortcuts to place bases form other resources.
For better understanding see attached image.
The problems occured, when I want to connect i.e. query (the_a_query)
from one base (A) to the query (the_b_query) from the other base (B)
with rule (the_rule). the rule is contained in reference "objects" of
the base and have opposite in "base" reference of the rule. I need to
put the rule into the objects of the base, where the shortcuts are
places (i.e. base "C"), but now the base implementation looks for base
container of source (the_a_query), finds its base (A) and use it as
container of the rule (the_rule).
This is really unwanted, because this changes the source base (A)
resource, which should keep as it is. The rule must be kept in base
where shortcuts are placed.
Does anybody have some suggestions how to do it?
