Hi everyone,

I installed the Eclipse Memory Analyzer Versión 1.6.1 on Windows 7 64 - bits. I need open a .hprof file but there is an error opening the file and the error is "Java heap space". Reading a lot of forums, all suggest increase the Xmx value greater than 1024 (is the default value in the "MemoryAnalyzer.ini"), but when I modify it, the program not even open and I can't see a log file that shows the error.

This is the content of the MemoryAnalyzer.ini:

-startup
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.3.100.v20150511-1540.jar
--launcher.library
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.1.300.v20150602-1417
-vmargs
-Xmx2048m

Just open with the 1024 value in Xmx and I'm working with Java 1.8:

Java version: 1.8.0_111
Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_111-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.111-b14, mixed mode)

Can someone please help me with this error?, I found a lot of topics, but none has resolved my problem.

Thanks.
