"Code Assist" does not work [message #176238] Fri, 08 September 2006 03:51
Eclipse UserFriend
I am now using Eclipse 3.2 with CDT 3.1.0, and I have installed minGW32.My
Java code assist works well. But I don't understand why code assist for
C++ is so painfully slow, every time I input "." or "::" or "Alt+/",
eclipse get struck, I don't know why?

Right now I turn off the automatic code assist functionality but I do wish
to use it to save time and effort. Does anyone figure out how to use Code
Assist for CDT?

Thanks in advance!
