Hi,
Does anyone know of any light weight JSP editor for eclipse, preferably
free.
Nothing fancy is desired. It could be an extension of a simple text
editor, with color coding for JSP and context sensitive help, (or drop
down code assist baloons)
WSAD is very heavy and is of no use if the application in hand is small
and is J2EE to extent of has servlets and JSP - nothing more. Plugins like
Lomboz are also nice but when opening a JSP file for editing the CPU
utilization goes to 100% and the system drags.

I would say either:
WebSphere Studio Site Developer - smaller, less expensive brother of
WSAD, no EJB tools, no Object/Relational mapping tools, no performance
profiling tools, etc. Still has WebSphere Test Environment for
WAS-based testing as well as TomCat support.
or the WTP project at:
http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/initial-contribution/IBM/Get ting%20Started.html
specifically the structured source editor.
