I am currently developing a profile with a set of SVG files that are used as shapes for elements in diagrams. Some shapes shall by nature be "smaller" than other shapes, for example interface symbols shall be smaller than node symbols by default.

However, I have failed to control the default size of the symbols in diagrams and found nothing useful within Papyrus CSS control or within SVG files themselves. One "problem" is that the Papyrus element compartment "fills out" the space and "stretches" the SVG no matter how big the SVG canvas is - so there is no way to control it that way.

Anyone has any idea or a solution?

yes in fact the SVG by using CSS can fills all the compartment by using "maintainSymbolRatio=false" or get adapt the size the of SVG by using "maintainSymbolRatio=true"
Do you try shape decoration because the size is fixed.

Nevertheless we have no preferences or Css command to fix the size of the SVG.

If you are interested by that, write a bug with your scenario as an enhancement.
In this manner this fucntionality is written and can interest persons or companies that can vote for this function.
