How get actual dimensions of e component with miglayout [message #1743261]

I want to display a jpg photo into a Label and I have to resize the ipg to right dimensions. The label is a square and I resize the imagine maintaining the proportions and centring vertically or horizontally. Using absolute layout I can get actual dimensions with getHeigth and getWidth, bat using miglayout I receive a zero value for both.
Any suggestion?
