How to create a mechanism to upload a .jpg, etc [message #1737524]

Hello, I am very new to Java, Eclipse, and RAP. I have been asked to help complete a project in progress. While I can figure out my way around the code, sometimes I am asked to add new features.

How can I create a mechanism to upload a .jpg, .gif, .png file, etc?

I tried to use the search and found something about an upload widget but I really have no idea where to begin.

The Developer's Guide[1] has the most comprehensive and up to date information. File Upload is something that has changed in the last few versions though, so make sure you know which version you are using. If you're using 3.0 or later, the FileUpload widget or FileDialog is what you want[2].
