The API ref mentions CAN Bus:

The downloads page also mentions CAN Bus:
https://eclipse.org/kura/downloads.php

"The below downloads contain the Kura Web UI, the Open JDK Device I/O library to access GPIO, I2C, SPI and PWM, and the bundles to interface with the CAN bus"

However I can't find any further details.

Any advise for a CAN Bus newbie?

I have heard mention of the bundle : "org.eclipse.kura.protocol.can" but I can't find it

Hi Paul,
effectively the distributed packages, at the moment, doesn't contain the CAN protocol implementation bundle.
However, you can find the bundle code here [1] and here [2]. I will modify the build for the next Kura release in order to have it included again.

thanks for the reference - we probably can't wait for the next build of kura so we're trying to create the kura-can bundle ourselves. The problem is the pom dependency for libsocket-can-java which does not resolve. does anyone know where to source this jar from?
