[xpand] How to use xpand outside GMF? [message #171919] |

Hi all,
We want to generate code as part of our MDA project. JET2 is an option, but
the new kid on the block is xpand. This one is included in GMF, but can it
also be used for different models than gmfgen? Anyone experience with it? Or
is it still too early to use and can I better wait for a release of xpand
from the M2M project?
Kind regards,
Jaap

well, personally I think xPand (open Architecture Ware) is more powerful
with e.g. aspects, parametric polymorphism. The only better feature I've
seen with acceleo is that you could trace which template generated that
specific code. But that feature is afaik just in the pro version.
