I'm considering switching from OpenJPA to EclipseLink. So far, it looks good. But I need to handle two databases - a main database for writes, and a replicated database for reads. This is supported in OpenJPA using com.mysql.jdbc.ReplicationDriver - I think the trick is for JPA to set the jdbc connection to read/write behind the scenes. Does anyone have experience doing this with EclipseLink?
