What is the best way to get started with GEF4?

GEF4 actually is a collection of 9 individual components with different scopes (which of course partly depend on each other). To obtain an overview, https://wiki.eclipse.org/GEF/GEF4 is the ideal starting point. It links to the reference documentation of each component and also to the respective examples.

For GEF4 MVC and GEF4 Zest we have build up larger examples that also show how parts of other components are used. They are linked from the documentation as well. We do no provide step-by-step tutorials yet.

The logo example is allready kind of complex.
I am not going to see the wood for the trees.

It would be helpful to see more easy minimalistic MVC example.
Preverable for each basic concept.
