No double click event on TreeCursor [message #1705045]

I found this code (Snippet360.java) that creates a TreeCursor on top of a regular Tree with columns so the user can click on the different columns.
However, the mouse event never receives the double click event.
Instead it receives 3 events up-down-up.

How can I get the double click event on the TreeCursor?
