Hi,

To work around a nasty problem with Windows User Access Control (UAC) we renamed the installer executables from
"eclipse-installer[.exe]" to "eclipse-inst[.exe]". See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=470080 for details.

Newly downloaded installers shouldn't have any problems.

After an update of an installer with the old name it will probably not restart automatically. But don't worry, that's a
one-time effect of the renaming. Just start it manually and all is good.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We really hope that this was the last renaming ;-)
