graphing memory while debugging C/C++ code [message #164353] Mon, 07 August 2006 13:43
Eclipse UserFriend
i've been looking around for a while but can't seem to locate anything
that does what i want ...

in IDE's like DDD, it is easy to create a quick graph based upon arbitrary
memory ... for example:
http://i.cmpnet.com/ddj/ddj/images/ddj0103a/0103af5.gif

the input would be something along the lines of:
- starting memory address
- number of data points
- type of each data point (char/int/double/etc...)
- type of graph (line/scatter/etc...)

there any sort of mechanism for doing this in eclipse ?
