While debugging C programs I occasionally get a segfault in the code, or
some other error and have to press the red stop button to kill the
debugger. It stops, but subsequent attempts to use it cause eclipse to
hang. I read of a problem in 2.0 that pressing the stop button
sometimes corrupts the debugger metadata causing this to occur, so I
deleted my metadata and was able to resume debugging; after rebuilding a
fairly complex project which is a nuisance. (I have a LOT of env
variables and debug configs taking complex args).
Has anyone else noticed this? For the time being I'm going to backup my
metadata against the possibility of this happening again...
