Eclipse User

I have some old plug-ins that I created for eclipse and I was wondering if
it would be possible to use AspectJ in these plugins? For example, could
you make a AspectJ project and pointcut into another plug-in? I don't
really see how its possible since eclipse plugins are lazy-loaded. If
anyone has had success with this though please point me to a link or
something.
Also, are there any AspectJ environments that are like Eclipse where you
can develop your own enchancements to the environment in AspectJ?
