Hi everybody.

First of all, there is my config:
* BIRT webviewer version 2.0.1
* Tomcat 4.1
* JDK 1.4.0_01-b03

I try without success to run charts in webviewer. In Eclipse, they work correctly but when I deploy my report (xxx.rptdesign) on my tomcat, I can see an error:

Exception in:
soapenv:Server.userException

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

I've also try on the TEST MySQL Database given with the BIRT Tutorialnamed "ChartingExampleAfter" but it don't work also.

All my report without charts working good.

Help, please.

Hi,

Did you read the integration section on the website?
http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/deploy/viewerSetup.php

Do you have a temp folder under your Tomcat installation? If not you should
create one, but normally it should be there.

Thanks,

David

Thank, but I've this 'temp' directory under my Tomcat, it create empty GIF file (size=0 kb).

For the instruction about iText.jar and prototype.js, I've do it before. I've also read a lot of newsgroup. But I've found nowhere the solution to my problem so I've try to explain it here.

An other idea ? :-)

Did you try to run in headless mode the webviewer? This is a common issue on
Linux.

Set this in the java command line:

-Djava.awt.headless=true

Thanks,

David
