Hi there,

i'm interested in the template styling capability of emfforms.

Somewhere I saw that I could add "custom control styling" code easy as "control tester". Can't find it anymore. Am I right or did I keep wrong infos? I'm looking for a place to implement SWT.Multi for a text-control.

Is there currently the ability to change the label name to a custom string? In my case, I have an extended class where I want to rename the label of an attribute. Let's say in parent class it's called "id" in child class it should be "Kennung". I found a styled label example in your blog. But I guess this is not what I'm looking for.

Hi,

a multi control will be used if a string attribute is set to property
type "Multi-line" (in the gen model).
The label is derived from the property descriptor (edit bundle) and can
be adapted and translated by modifying the porperty files (or adding new
ones.

Hi Jonas,

first of all thanks for your ongoing help! I really appreciate it.

And obviously I have to search the genmodel more often.

I also found the extension point for custom layouts. http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/tutorials/emf-forms-rendering/
