Hi. I generate with BIRT a pdf of around 12 pages of text that has the
size of 7MB ?!?!??!?! Why is so BIG? How can I shrink the size of the PDF?

it's not neccesary. I had to adjust the format and size of the pictures
included in the BIRT report.
