We have used BIRT in eclipse and would like to now move our reports to a
Web App we are developing. We would like to avoid having a seperate
web app just to view reports. Is there anyway we can configure this so
that we can utilize the viewer from within our existing webapp?

Have you tried this yet?

You should be able to add the entries from the BIRT web.xml to your existing
web app. In addition make sure you get the files and directories in the Web
Viewer Example.
