Looking up online I could find a status badge for Travis and Jenkins, which you can embed on pages, and will display the current status of your build. In most cases this is placed in readme.md files in github/bitbucket etc.

I tried using the Jenkins plugin, but looks like its not compatible with Hudson, as I was getting classnotfound exceptions on hudson startup, when I placed the .hdi file in plugins dir. I couldn't find any other plugin for hudson which provides this functionality.

Is anyone aware of a embeddable status badge for hudson ?
