building CDT for eclipse [message #153817]

Hi,
I am asked to build eclipse and cdt from source. I have taken eclipse
and built it succesfully. I dont know how to build CDT. I have downloaded
org.eclipse.cdt-3.0.0-win32.x86.zip from eclipse site. There is no build
file also in that. I have read a document at

, but we have firewalls for CVS.

So, please tell me what should I do.

This is a common request. However, to date, no one has contributed a
solution. I'd be happy to commit patches that make this work. For me, I
don't have a problem accessing CVS.

In the org.eclipse.cdt-releng/org.eclipse.cdt.releng module in
/home/tools, you'll find our build scripts. They all start at build.sh
and, generally, run best on Linux.
