I'm running Eclipse Version: 3.2.0 in a macbook, and I've been having some
hang times (of a few minutes) while coding.

I noticed it only happens when I'm waiting for methods completions. I
believe it hangs when I tryes to get the javadocs informations about all
the methos of the class I'm requesting over the internet.
When I'm connected to a slower Internet connections is when this hangs
happen.

I looked in the preferences for an option to deactivate methods javadocs
but I didn't found anything.
A few searches in google for users with the same symptons than I were
unsucessfull.

Does anyone know how I can stop eclipse from getting the javadocs or some
other solutions to stop with this hangs?

What version of Eclipse are you using?
If you are not using 3.2RC3, I would first recommend that you are
switching to this version.
