Could someone show me the light on how to add my plug-in to Eclipse
Preferences? I like to allow users to set colors, appearance, etc. of my
plug-in from the Preferences dialog. Thanks.

There are several articles on eclipse.org that thoroughly describe the
work with preferences. You can also look up to the Eclipse documentation.

The wizard for a new plugin creates a nice, working example.
Also, if you already have a plugin project open the plugin.xml ->
extensions -> add -> extension template -> preference page
