Well, the eclipse.EXE part scares me... Eclipse for Linux doesn't have
the Windows extension!

But assuming that was a temporary mind cramp, or just a "you know what I
meant" kind of thing... How are you starting up Eclipse? If from a
command line, are you specifying the JRE on the command line (-vm
option)? Or is the JRE in your path (and EARLIER in your path than any
other JVM?)?

Try "type java" at a command line and see which java it thinks you're
running; and/or try "java -showversion to see which one you're getting.
